Meet Ennis Fant

Ennis Fant, a Greenville native and University of South Carolina graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering, currently serves as a member of Greenville County Council, representing District 25. He previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives and is the Senior Pastor of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church in Powdersville, SC. Fant has also had a long career in the Real Estate and Insurance industries, protecting families and providing homeownership to strengthen our communities.

Housing Champion

As Chairman of the Affordable Housing Committee, successfully secured $16M to bolster efforts in addressing housing affordability, ensuring that more families have access to safe and affordable housing options.

Innovator in Tax Policy

Drafted the first Tax Abatement Ordinance in SC, providing developers with a 50% property tax reduction in exchange for dedicating 20% of their units as affordable housing. This groundbreaking ordinance has become a model adopted by counties nationwide.

Economic Dynamo

As a member of the Finance Committee, I have been instrumental in driving unprecedented economic growth in District 25, attracting $2.8B in investment and generating over 2400 new jobs over the past seven years.
